ideas for dinner?

i'm dating a chick and i want to make her dinner (at her place) as a date. any suggestions on what to make? I'm a pretty decent/good cook for a 22 year old male. unfortunately, she isn't one of those girls that would like jello-shots for dessert.

thanks

Re: ideas for dinner?

bad choice of you going to her place (you could have ordered out before she came and told her that you made it) but you can just check online on those sites that tell you how to make all the fancy french or italian foods.
check this http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/find/advanced/

Re: ideas for dinner?

stuffed shells or manicotti. easy to make. can use meat or just ricotta cheese. put a little red wine in the sauce and you are set.

Re: ideas for dinner?

Just watch something on Food Network, i love that channel. Bobby Flay is an amazing cook. Try something crazy and wild, like brazillian!! get a lamb butt, cook it with cocunts and rum, make an arugala and crabmeat salad with raspberry vinigrette and rum, and last, make some latin tasting cocktails, like with rum...

Or some mexican.. it isnt that hard. Just get some like minced meat, cook it up a bit, get some corn tortillas, after the meat is cooked well, depending on how you did it, put the meat in between the tortillas and then fold it and add some lettuce, tomatoes to it, cheese.. etc.. doing this wouldnt be that hard and would taste good!

Re: ideas for dinner?

hmmmm you could make shrimp scampi with broccoli over pasta? very tasty and easy (boil water, either bake or fry the shrimp up real quick with defrosted frozen broccoli) and for 2, its not that expensive... If you need more directions, or more ideas....hit me up, i LOVE to cook
