Re: should i say yes????

your car is 80 pounds heavier than his car.

your car runs (stock) 0-60 mph 5.1 seconds

his car runs (stock) 0-60 mph 5.3 seconds.

if u guys would be stock. l guess you would have a decent race.

but you got mods, Luos will give the best answers l guess.

How badly you want to beat him??

As it stands now, it is probably so close you might win a couple and he might win a couple.
Any idea if he has a stall?

And doodad, I don't mean any offense here....but those numbers you are getting aren't all that accurate. The weight is probably about right though. Real world numbers are much more accurate than numbers you find on a site or in a magazine.
Plus, you have to keep driver skill in mind.

Re: should i say yes????

yeah, you re right..

l just wanted to say what factory rated.. sure if u re a bad driver it wont be like that.. also they are 7 years and 5 years old cars..

l just meant that you have almost the same power (stock)

it is mostly up to driver, as u said. and their mods..

you know better than me man.. l always respect and listenn what u say.

Re: Re: should i say yes????

Ok here is what im thinking. LS6 intake, bigger TB, headers, new lid, gears, and maybe underdrive pullies. (of course over a period of time). what are my chances. Hes got headers, lid, catback, chip, and maybe a TB.

ANY REPLIES ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Re: should i say yes????

Bigger throttle body isn't needed. Just have your stocker ported and polished.
LS6 intake is a great mod for those cars without it.
Lid....best first mod. Most any lid works...shop around for best price.
Headers, another great bolt-on. Depends on what you want to spend for price though.
Gears will liven your car up pretty good. Depends on how aggressive you want to go though.
Underdrive pulleys. This one I am partial on. They work great. Free up power by slowing down accessories. Problem with that is on a car that is driven everyday sometimes there can be problems with power drain.

If his car has a decent sized stall with sticky tires...run him from a roll.
