Any Musicians Here?
nobody(that i know of) has posted on this yet do i guess ill be the first
Well the friggin MPA has striked again read here BBC So now any site that provides music tabs and lyrics are being shut down by the damn MPA. It is total BS comments?

Edit: I think the bands would be more pleased to see people enjoying their music, and paying tribute to them, rather than have their lyrics and music not be shared with people to ENJOY.

Personally I don't rely on tabs that much..but many other people do..It's always gonna come down to one thing - Money. Maybe the MPA should ask the artists how they feel about this decision?

I use it because I'm in a cover band, and usually need some help figuring out how to play the songs, but the fucked up thing is that every place our band plays, has to pay dues to ASCAP (I think that's the one) so that the musicians who wrote the songs DO get paid for when we play their music.

bassmasta seems to be up and running still... maybe they can slip under teh radar (crosses fingers)
edit: its not even the musicians themselves that are the problem (no, not even Metallica), its the f-ing money hungry lawyers that are causing the ruckus! I can't believe the sheet music companies are doing this. I wish the musicians themselves would take a stand up against these companies. Hell, it'd be great if Metallica and Dr. Dre were the headliners agaisnt this bullshit, thereby clearing their names of the napster BS.
