First civic-need advise
Just got a 93 automatic. It has a small problem, sometimes the speedo sits at zero, then suddenly will jump up to your current speed.
The car is in excellent shape consdiering 160K miles, runs perfect. Any ideas? Thanks! |

I'd say keep the problem as an excuse out of your speeding ticket
...I really have no idea, get it checked by honda i guess |

check your tranny speed sensor. make sure the wires are in good shape. sounds like just a loose connection.
it's in a "high traffic" area on the tranny... right on top. anyone who has removed the intake a few times may have easily damaged the sensor and/or wires. |
