New STi's no forged pistons??

Is this true?

I've been hearing here and there that the new STi's come with cast pistons whereas all the old ones come with forged.

However, we only got the 2.5L STi's this year, so maybe it's just Australia.

Did the older 2.5L USDM STi's come with forged or cast pistons?

all 2.5's have cast, but 05/06s are coated with molybdenum or something. MY04s may be too but not sure.
