#2 Cylinder Miss...

Anyone know what could be causing the #2 cylinder to miss? Just had alternater replaced and that didnt work. Mechanic says I may need to replace intake. Getting an ERT code.

Ok, this thread says ERT code. The other thread says ETR code. First thing i thought was you mistyped and you meant EGR code. Ive never even heard or an ERT or ETR code.

A misfire could be caused loose plug wire on either the coilpack or plug. The plug could also be fouled out as well or gapped inproperly.

I meant ETR, it may have been EGR though. Just going by what he said over the phone. You think new plugs and wires could fix this missing?

its possible. theres just a few things that could cause a misfire, but new plugs and wires certainly would help.
