Unhappy my car ate mountain :(

yesterday, i was up in the mountains..with my friends, so, being stupid and cocky i took my bird up for a spin..knowing i was at an disadvantage cuz my car is a lot heavier, hates rain...

it had rained that morning...and the dirt got into the roads, but i figured it had all dried.. (this was at night)
little did i know that the trees hanging over had not let the rain evaporate...i took a sharp turn at 45 mph...well..tried to;; it went straight into the mountain side.. no chirpping tires..nothing. just..slideeee..

im just glad my friends in the car were safe, i was safe, and thank god it was an turn with the mountain on the side..that i turned to....

the mountain roads have no guardrails, btw..

so dont be stupid and do what i did!

now..i need a new
1) front left fender
2) new bumper

3) changed a light assembly, need the black cover around it..
4) headlight
5) the metal structure behind the bumper..(well its really bent)

my poor babe.. so sorry

oh..yeah..the dirt slowed me down..and i hit a tension cable for the power lines..

i was about..4-5 inches away from hitting a pole...

We've all done stupid things before to impress friends. I did that once in my '84 T/A and hit a road sign post.... I learned my lesson the hard way too. This was many years ago.

I can sell you some parts if you need cheap. I have the headlight brackets (don't have the motors themselves), I have Trans Am fenders (with the fender vent holes) and the front inner bumper support. Email me and let me know. [email protected]

I'm in Los angeles, so at least the shipping would be just across the water...

Let me know if you change your mind

Re: my car ate mountain :(

I dont know if tuske427 has the black surrounding trim for the headlight, but if he doesnt, and you cant find it in the junkyards, and are willing to ship it, let me know.

I do not have those. Besides, the last car I parted was an '84 T/a and those black headlight covers are a different shape than the '85+ models.
