What engine do i need?
I have a 1995 kia sephia ls 1.6 liter SOHC. I would like to know if there is an engine that wouls fit in my car that i can turbocharge. And also i wanted to convert my auto to a manuel when i get a new engine. How hard would that be as well.

Re: What engine do i need?
hey dude I got your e-mail. Not sure about SOHC but if you find a DOHC it will fit with no mods. I will e-mail you rit now on the rest of the info. (I don't think everyone needs to know) hehe

Re: What engine do i need?
I have a RS with DOHC 1.8L and I'm thinking of doing some mods. What will give the most bang for the buck? what would be the first thing to do?

Re: What engine do i need?
Been doing some research. The first thing I need to do is rebuild engine. Enlargeing the bore from 83mm to 85mm. The stock motor likely will not be able to handle the increased horse power. I can get a performance kit from importperformanceparts.net that has every thing but connecting rods for $1000. Then I can throw on a turbo. But that can cause problems if there is no intercooler or other needed parts.
BTW: you can spend up to $1000 each for a connecting rod. but you need it if your gonna have a 700hp motor
