Re: Best for modding!
mitsubishi evo, already comes turbocharged from the factory so to get more horsepower you just need to upgrade your turbo and intercooler.
PS if you can afford a 2006 evo you can definetely afford a mid 90's supra or rx-7 which are both twin turbo's and will make a whole lot more horsepower than the evo by just upgrading turbos and making a few more mods Last edited by sv650s; 12-19-2005 at 08:43 PM. |

Re: Best for modding!
The Mustang GT makes the most power of any of those cars.

For the money it is a tie between the evo and the mustang. Evo makes great top end power with it's turbo and already strong internals, and the Stang with it's low end torque and respectable HP and has the best aftermarket.

Re: Best for modding!
Yea but like I think the evo is nice and can be modded to 1000 HP. But I think the mustang can to but does it look nice? It almost like making fun of the old version.

Re: Best for modding!
you speak for us all. any car can be made to 1000hp, end of story.
pretty much any car can be made to beat any other car, it just depends on your wallet and knowhow. also, this question is too broad, it depends on how good you are with tools, with bolt ons, that's a differnt story, but if you want to make everything custom, then it gets cheaper and some are easier than others. why don't you use google and look up certain parts for certain cars, then you can see for yourself how much it costs. make yourself a spreadsheet of what you want, how much it costs, and the complexity, because since you're asking this question, I'm going to asume you don't know how to make a custom turbo system. check out some common companies for what you want or some places in your area, do your own research and get some experience for yourself, this way you won't have to be lead by the hand when you actually want to get something for a car. Anyways, rant over. bottom line, any car can do anything with the right modifications and money, so stop asking if they can. rather, ask how stuff works (only after you use the search option and don't find what you're looking for), bring in your ideas and discuss them, with an open mind of course, be ready for critisism because there will be people against your idea no matter what, or ask specific questions about specific cars, like what turbo would be appropriate for x car, making x boost, on x compression, with x octane fuel, this way we don't get the same questions and you can actually learn something and recieve some great knowledge from some great people (and some not so great people). Hope this helps, good day (unless you're here in Canada) |

![]() I feel like im talking to a friggen brick wall here! I cant believe you started a thread about a 1000 hp evo in your other post and we all answered it saying its possible and you still persist to ask the same thing! Ive said this twice, and ill say it again! Any car can make a 1000 hp with enough money. End of story. Do you have multiple personalities or something?

Re: Best for modding!
I think the smilies (or frownies) say it all. We're all sick of these 1000hp questions, and we are all sick of repeating what we said. If i say that you can tune anything to 1000hp I'm not gonna say you can't after you ask again. Common man, what are you 8? Please, for the love of all that is good, stop asking the exact same questions over and over, it's getting annoying. You can learn alot more if you just ask the right questions and use your resources properly.
