Question One side of windshield washer nozzle not working

Hey all..
Before I do any more..
Has anyone had the problem of the passenger nozzle not spraying from the windshield washer, but the driver one does?
No leaks found under the hood due to holes or such..
I lift the hood..hit the washer a few times..then it works..then close the hood and after a few hours of sitting..it stops again.
Just the driver side works..And that nozzle is the farthest from the pump and tank??
No kinks in the hoses either..

Re: One side of windshield washer nozzle not working

maybe you got someting stuck inside the nozzle try unpluging the hose in the inside and put some compressed air or water in the nozzle but backwards from the outside. that might work.

Tried that..
I open the hood and the nozzle works..both of them..
I close the hood..still works for a time..then say an hour later..only the driver side works..
No leaks from the hoses or connectors..even have the underhood skirt off to make sure..
This is baffling!!!

sorry man try going to a junk yard and pick up a new(used) nozzle and change that one. Just make sure its the one on the driver side.

Sounds like when you are closing the hood the line is being pinched. And it would work for a short time after because there is just enough fluid in the lines to spray but not for too long. I'm thinking that's your best bet.
