The BIG TB in 07

... Speaking of model changes (from another thread), has anyone seen the new Tahoe for 07'? It's in the "Upcoming Vehicles" section on the Chevy site. The only reason I mention it here is because it looks like an overgrown TB. We have an 02 TB and my wife LOVES the look of the new Tahoe!!

I like the new look, it now basically looks like the Big Bro to the TB and the Yukon does the same to the Envoy. I like it, unless they really put the Colorados 3.5L I5 220HP as the standard engine. It would be more useless than a TB, no towing capacity, and bad mileage because youd have to rev that thing pretty high to get that much mass moving. I mean, cmon GM, at least put the 4.2L I6 in there for a little power.

The base engine is a 290 hp 4.8L V8. The optional engine is a 320hp 5.3L V8 w/DOD (05-06 TB's V8 engine with more power). GM has tons of engines set to go into the GMT900's, depending on which brand you look at. I think the biggest engine is the Escalade's 400hp 6.2L V8 with VVT. There are also some engines with iron blocks, while others are all aluminum.

I love the look of the new tahoe...
Its about time that they stepped up to the plate. However I think the Tahoe will out sell the Yukon and maybe even the escalade. I'm not too sure on their looks yet.

Of course the Tahoe will outsell the GMC and Caddy - Chevy is GM's high-volume, mainstream brand and is intended to sell more vehicles than all other brands combined.
