Red face heater core

any info on how to replace thr heater core in a 1991 mazda 626 would be
ever so GRATE-FULL

Generally, the heater core is an underdash or dash removal job, unless there's an access plate on the firewall. Good luck finding your answer.

If the heater core is just clogged and not leaking, a simple fix that has worked for me consistently is to switch the inlet and outlet hoses on the firewall. The clogging is from constant one-way directional buildup of sediment and is often made worse or complete if you have added any radiator stopleak. By reversing the hoses you create a back-flush action that forces everything back into the general cooling system. If this works for you make sure to do a general cooling system flush afterwards so the same crud doesn't redeposit itself over time.

Why not just run a hose in the reverse direction? No sense putting all that crap into your engine.....just my
