Power Antenna
When I had my stock CD player in my 99 integra the antenna worked fine it would only stay up if the radio was on...awhile ago I got a JVC KDG-210 and installed it with an adapter harness and the antenna would just stay down even if the radio was on which I didnt mind...Now my antenna just stays up is there any way I can get it to just come up when I have the radio on??? if not which wire controls the antenna so i can just disconnect it??? I think its blue but im not sure

Re: Power Antenna
On some models of radio, there are two blue wires(one with a white stripe, and just a plain blue one). The blue/white is strictly for amp turn on, while the blue is usually the power antenna lead. Other models only have a blue wire that stays hot whenever the unit is on. If the only wire that you have is just the blue wire, then you'll need to install a toggle switch to shut the power to the power antenna off when you're not using the radio funtion.
