i'm thinking of hitting up my local junker for some calipers/rotors/and brake lines off the 300, but what year should i use for my 90?

Thanks guys.

Also, anybody selling mirrors (auto or manual, idc) to fit my 90'? I have no glass on either side :P.

z32 is 90-96 300zx.. so anything from those years. check out www.z31.com to see what kind of brakes they had.. i don't think they're anything special but they might be..

maybe all of us don't modify our cars just for the track all of the time, i like to work on cars because i find it enjoyable, not to run it on the track. i thought the extra breaking power would be a nice addon condsidering i have plenty of junkers nearby. Plus, i can find the z32 parts nearby for around 100.00, can you find an sr20 that cheap? Didn't think so, we don't all have a grand to drop on parts, kinda hard to save when all your money goes to bills ; ).

Re: z32's

i wouldn't completely agree with you, therealrayman, but then again i don't completely agree with awdsr20.. i've got them on my car and i'd say they come in handy when i'm driving around with the other north eastern ontario 240s (check out our website www.neo240sx.ca)..

Re: z32's

don't know ... i had asixx pads and stop tech lines + rotors and it worked fine... stopped well " btw i have the ABS calipers... there are bit bigger"

i got the Z32 bcus i worped my rotors right away on my 1st track day... Z32 4 pistons brakes apply even amount of pressure on each pad, hence making the contact surface with the rotor even to produced a flush pad wear and a solid pedal feel under high stress.

the stock "floater" unit, with its SINGLE caliper would literally BEND the pad and decreases the contact surface+ generate allot of heat + worp the rotor instantly..

if u fined them for $100 get them i guess.
