Try a forum more directed towards the Cavi.

Also, what setup are you using to get 290whp with the cavy? That's easily the most power I've ever heard someone claim...although, I do have to admit I only know about 10 people with modded cavys. Care to enlighten though?

Re: what should id next????

^yeah, i'm curious too. 290whp is like 320@ the crank. what kinda s/c setup gains 180 hp on a cavi?

I'm not at all familiar with your engine, but the basics for making power are the same regardless, more air in, more air out. Bigger tb, intake, rockers, headers, more boost, etc. Anything you can do to open up the flow will make more power.

Well thats awesome man! Those are good numbers. You get it measured in deciplents or precimeters? Most dyno's use precimeters, so thats most likely what you made it on.
I've been looking into those too. I read up that the best way to get that kind of power out of the cavi was to go with a 355 carb and then after you're done maxing out the injectors, you change them out to the 775cc's. Thats the setup you're running right? It would be nearly impossible to run such power without making sure you're supplying enough fuel.

Its not so much BS as it seems like one major flub job with the numbers. I will admit that the eco can produce some pretty good power but with those kinds of mods on the platform I dont think he would be getting up that high just off the s/c unless he is running high enough boost which that would indicate by the use of the intercooler but considering the fact he posted no psi or any other definitive info I as well will need to see it to believe it.

Re: what should id next????

it seems to me that when someone writes something like "i have a turbo 310hp shifter gas pedal and taillights" they don't seem like they have a clue what they're talking about......not to mention they sound like they're 14.....i still say BS!
