Hood?

I own a 2000 Honda Civic and want to put a new hood on it. I saw one on ebay for a good price it is a APC Metal Hood Scoop and it looks nice. Wanted to know if it is a good hood or anyone heard any reviews on how they are and if there are any problems with them? I want to stay away from Carbon Fiber and get fiberglass or metal. Thanks.

I can't speak for everyone, but I personally dislike APC and every product that they make. They mass produce things and it usually turns out to be CrAP! Hey, look, APC is in the word crap, coincidence, I don't think so.

Do you have a link to this hood?

The only thing I was looking at is the price on the APC acuse then I would have to get it painted and thought to save some money.

The Spyder hood is Fiberglass and I really like that one to but if it is better then the APC tehn I wont mind spending the extra money for the Fiberglass. Thanks.

i dont like apc that much either.. but i also wouldn't get a fiberglass hood either.. i have one on my car and i personally think there crap..

Why is the fiberglass hood carp? is it to heavy or not durable?

I don't really like figerglass anything either. If you paint your car any kind of dark color, the sun heats up the fiberglass and you will get dimples and waves in it. I know there are higher class fiberglasses, but living in Japan where kits are $2000+, they still get waves and dimples. Only way I would get fiberglass is if you weren't going to leave the car in the sun at all.
