92 grand am won't start please help

I have a 92 pontiac grand am. I drove it the other day and it ran just fine. The next day i went out to start it and it won't start. You can hear the fuel pump kicking on when you try to start it. it sounds like it is trying to roll over but won't actually start. The battery is fully charged. I can't figure out what the problem is. Other than this problem it has been a good running car so far. Can someone please help me.

Re: 92 grand am won't start please help

What size engine is in the car 4cyl/ Quad 4 /6cyl ?

It sounds like there may be a lost connection in the wiring. If you have the Quad 4 engine and you look at the top of the motor to the right of the top cover is a wire harness connection...Make sure that is in tight. That leads directly to the ignition module and coil packs.

I hope it is something as simple as that.

Welcome to the Forum, Good luck, If it is not that look for some other type of wiring problem such as burnt wires or connectors.
Let us Know if that helps.
