Re: 307 WRC on the shelf
Apart from the already well discussed chassis it has some nice features and details. I can see I'll probably relent and buy one at some stage.
![]() P.S. If you don't get why it makes people angry about the chassis you need to look at the bottom of a real 307. Metal is not the issue, the toy like lack of accuracy and detail is. |

Well, at least if Tamiya decides to do a gravel rally version (or if someone wants to make a conversion)...it might be possible with how the suspension goes together. I have one on the way with the photo-etch bits. Though I wish all the models they put out would be like the Shell F40...the photo-etch bits are included...and the damn thing is cheaper! Oh well.....

Isn't the metal chassis just a "bonus" in this model? Or is it actually the only option?

A lot of money for those few parts!
If this is what Tamiya´s future kits will all look like.....

What's the bottom of the 307 look like? I have no idea.

What's the point of making it diecast? Also, this new kit seems alot less "complete" than the older Tamiya kits (ex: Nissan 300ZX, RX-7 Efini, S2000 (w hardtop + Mugen rims)...). |
