About time something went right...

Not sure if anyone remembers the backorder issue I was having with March pulleys.

I ordered the damn thing August 20th. Paid for in full. Still haven't gotten it.
Well....my parts guy (www.byunspeed.com) called them for me. Apparently March outsources the making of their underdrive pulleys. And they still didn't have anyone to make them. So....after 4 months of waiting, it was looking like it would be ANOTHER 4-6 months.
Anyways, the parts guy called me yesterday telling me he refunded me the money for it.
He then found me a new ASP underdrive pulley for cost. Shipped today.
GM parts should be here soon as well.

I think if I have everything....one full day in the garage and she will be able to run again.

Eh, who really needs pulleys anyway? j/k.
It definately sucks relying on others when they don't follow through, but its good that everything has been sorted out.
Sorry I haven't been really keeping up, but how long have you been at this project? But it sure is going to be rewarding come this spring/summer.

5 months it has been down.

Time and space have been a problem.
Weather hasn't helped.

Re: About time something went right...

So what did you do with the LS1? Want to sell it to me for a nickel and a box of chocolates?

Another thing, I am considering Pacesetter LT's for my LT1 and I remember you said something about the Pacesetters being good for the LS1, but are they same quality for the LT1 as well? And how hard are they to install? I am not the most mechanically inclined person, but I heard install was easy for some people. What would be the minimum I would have to take out to fit them up? (Besides manifold and y-pipe)

Sorry for getting off subject and asking dumb questions.

Re: About time something went right...

No problem.
An old friend and me tryed to install the mid-length headers on his LT1 Z-28. It was hell. Made my LS1 seem easy to work on.
That, and I have no idea how Pacesetters are for the LT1. As far as I know, they are ONLY good for the LS1. From what I have heard they are crap for anything else.

The stock LS1 got sold. $1200.
