If you don't need matching numbers, check performance-oriented Chevy dealers for 427, 454 and 502 crate engines. Try Drive magazine, Super Chevy, etc. Also local speed shops and the Jeg's and Summit catalogs.
Good pro installs start around $1500 in the L.A. area. Got some skilled "good buddies"?
