power window gear??
does anyone know if or where i could buy a power motor gear..my window motor is fine..its just the gear i think is stripped, so if anyone knows i would appreciate it thanks

my question should of been is it posible to remove the gear..and how would i go by doing that? i forgot i have my old window motor in my closet i could use the gear off that if i can get it of.

well, having changed both my window motors....i can tell u that changing the gear is gonna be hell. There are some beefy riviets holding that sucker on the door, not too mention, i dunno how the hell it disconnects from the rest of the window. Not a whole lot of room to work in there. The motor atleast is small and its a fairly easy swap.
