braided hoses and fittings in Belgium

Well the title says it all... where can i find those hoses and fittings in belgium...I've tryed scratch building them... they look great but are to big.. more for a 1/12 model....

I made these fittings out of 1/16th dia. aluminum tubing.

I chucked the tubing into a six sided pin vise and used a file to shape the tubing. File off one side then roll the pin vise to the next flat. Work your way around the tubing until it is hex shaped. It doesn't take very long at all.
Once you have the tubing hex shaped use your hobby knife to cut the tubing to length by rolling the tubing under the blade.
Use short pieces of stiff wire to make the angled fittings.
A 12" piece of tubing will make 100's of fittings.

I don't really understand how you work. WHat exactly do you mean with six sided pin vise? And you "chucked" into it.. can't quit figure out what you mean. (srry I'm from Belgium ;-)

Look for something like this below and then clamp it in an anvil.
File at a straight angle, turn it around all six sides and file it to the desired size from all sides.
Works really good, but I rather use the hexagonal plastic rods from Plastruct and paint them in some aluminium colour as I did in my tutorial.

A "pin vise" is a small handheld drill chuck.
Like this...

"Chucking" means I clamped the tubing into the drill "chuck". This holds the tubing while your file it.
