radiator support assembly

Hey new guy here. But anyway, i have a 93 altima se. The problem i have is that the support bar (i dont know what its called) or crossmember under the engine, connected to radiator support, is getting lower. #What i mean is that the radiator support assm is rusting. the bolts have come down and there is a gap between the support and the crossmember. if i buy a support assembly for the radiator wwill it come with the holes for this bracket. Or should i get it welded. And also if i buy a radiator support will this require body work, frame alignment. i really dont wanna give up this car. thanx

That piece is called a center member. The engine mounts are bolted to it. As it seperates from the front crossmember, the engine is pivoting down from the transmission mount and causing axle alignment to change. Don't weld the center member in permenantly. It is important that you are able to remove it or lower it for many repair procedures. Repair the front crossmember so that the bolts will pull the center member into place where it belongs. The holes are in the crossmember with nuts welded on top where the bolts go through.
