hi i have a 93 trooper/bighorn i got 3 lights on dash fuel tbelt and battery and my heating dig display went off, took alternater to be repaired fitted it and now the lights on dash are flickering on off, but when i rev up every thing is normal and working fine. now above the fuse box under bonnet there is a clicking noise coming from 3 small boxes
does anyone know if they can be repaired or should i replace them and if so what are they called lol
any advice greatful....you can tell a woman typed this.lol

after fitting the alternater and the clicking noise
i have found that the alternater does not start to kick in till about 10 mins of running it...the dash lights are flashing on/off the volt meter is showing under 12 then all lights go out and volt meter is showing 13ish and all seems fine....could this still be the alternater or something else

I assume since you haven't mentioned any squealing that the belt is tight.

You say that you had the alternator repaired, it sounds like you didn't really get a repaired altrnator back from the rebuild guy. Sounds like the rectifier is bad. I would go back to where you got it fixed and get it checked out.
