94' sunbird 5 speed, she shifts HARD

i have a 94' sunbird and i have to give it all i got to get it into 1 & 2 gear, 3,4, & 5 isn't as bad but the other too are becoming nearly impossible, thought it was due to the recent cold weather but when the car warms up it still does it. Any thoughts?

There are a couple of possibilities, first the clutch is not fully engaging until you get to higher speeds where it takes less effort to change gears, the linkage needs adjusted or finally the gears and syncronizers are going out in the transmission. You can take it to a transmission shop to have it checked out as they should be able to tell you one way or the other.
