Question Running Ruff w/ C/E light.

well last night on my way home from work my check engine light came on and the car has been running real ruff and progessivly gettin worse.
And agian today the tstat started acting up.. so before she over heated I shut her off and parked her. Well atleast she'll have a ton of new parts all over her. Basicly I just wanted to know if the Bosche o2 sensor will work with our 3.8L 93. I know imports hate them but havent had any experience w/ bosche on a domestic.. Thanks alot !!

Re: Running Ruff w/ C/E light.

Its been running ruff for sometime and I ordered an o2 sensor and it hasnt made it in yet. Ford dealer too. But i can get my money back and get a bosche if they work well with our cars.. It just got worst last night and only does it at idle. If i rev up to 1k it goes away till idle falls back down agian. I think the o2 finally kicked the bucket since the car was running a tad bit rough at idle before but not as bad as now.

Might be a good idea to check for vacuum leaks and arcing plug wires while you're at it.

Re: Re: Running Ruff w/ C/E light.

I guess you've checked the entire vacuum line, hoses, fittings and also inspected the intake manifold. May want to take a look at the gasket as well. Hope this helps or gives you a few more ideas. Good luck. http://www.3dauto.com/viewterm/3673/1/
