'92 Ignition Cylinder/switch
Hi, this is a toughie to explain so bear with me,
Ok, I have a 1992 Cavalier. The ignition cylinder/switch is a combo. They're a unit together, not seperate like most. That's fine. My ignition cylinder went, so I bought a used 'combo' from a autowrecker for $100.
My car is currently on the street. Un-movable. I can't get the right part to de-pressure that spring on the column to take it off. I have all the wires removed, etc.
My question, is there anyway to hotwire this car so I can get it off the streeth before it gets towed b/c we've had over 15 cm's of snow so far. Also, with the new part that I have, if I just plugged it into the wires that it normally goes, it doesnt have to be bolted in does it? I just need to drive it like 30 damn feet! Any suggest on anything would be so greatly appreciated, you have no idea.
Thank you
