Rim Size Question

I have a 02 Sentra GXE and i am looking at getting new rims and dropping it. What is the maximum size rim I can put on this car without having to do any modifications? I am hoping it is at least 18 inches.

Re: Rim Size Question

yuck.
if your slamming it keep it with 17x7.5 or 17x8. trust me itll look way nicer. putting 19s on it will make it into one of those CRXs with stilts rolling around, 19x6 wheels and higher than stock ride height that results from it. oh and putting 18s or 19s will make your speedo inaccurate and make your car quite a bit slower. (read:unsprung weight + rolling radius)

Re: Rim Size Question

performance? if your hardcore get some 14x7 or 14x8
if you still want good looks get 15x7 or 15x7.5 or even 16x7. youll have to do your own research to see what clears your brakes and what offset to use. if you daily drive, id use stock offset (i think its +45 or something)

lightweight of course, one of my favorite light rims are konig heliums in bronze. they are cheap as hell, and 15x6.5 w/ 205/50/r15 falken azenis are light and sticky and cost like 700 or 800 bucks for 4 wheels and tires

if you want super light, theres lots to get, some of the best and lightest are:

volk TE37
RS watanabe 8spokes
SSR competitions
volk CE28N
racing hart CP035R
enkei RP-F1
weds sport tc-005

Re: Rim Size Question

Yeah, I'd say best for performance would be 15's. Anything over 16" is for looks only.
