Well I like the red ontop of the black with the white on the bottom.. now if you could make a badass paintjob using those three colors in that order from top to bottom, then it'd probably look pretty cool.

Re: J.Cutta's car's painted?????

NO PAINT. Restor it by color-sanding. Or color-sand and re-clear it and color-sand once more. Will save you lotsa money and the original finish will be like new if its not faded too much. And no that blue to orange bullshit please!

For all of you peole that get ripped off by paint shops, remember these.

Your 1 stage finish can be restored even if terribly faded (unless it flakes off)

your 2 stage finish can be restored to shine or re-cleared if it has lotsa scratches, doesnt shine, or clear comes off. The color can not be restored back to original shape.

There are some drawbacks, but if its done correctly it will prolong the life of the paint.

And use wax regularly please.

Re: J.Cutta's car's painted?????

original paint is always better than a cheap repaint unless its like a $3000 worth paint job

umm, i guess... you must not have read the whole thread, j. cutta's car is white with black fenders, front bumper, & red hood, color sanding on this will do nothing to make everything the same color.

btw, J. where are them pics? i thought you was gonna post them yesterday?

i think i missed the thred where you picked the color you was gonna paint it, last time i heard you wasnt sure which color you wass gonna paint it out of like 2 diffrent colors.

Re: J.Cutta's car's painted?????

Alright than, flat base coat. Most of the primers dont come in black and they dont hold on there for too long. As i understand its already painted and we are trying to find out what it looks like .

Re: J.Cutta's car's painted?????

I need to get the ditigal camrea from my sister. I havent even seen the car yet I pick it up monday. I got what they call cheap paint although I got a base coat, clear coat. Inside the door jambs under the hood the whole car is painted. It has a 3 year fade warrtany and a 5 year crack or peel. As for the color its a 05 Gm paint code really nice....

The deal I got was the best paint the shop had to afford close to 1,000. But I didn't pay that much. Acutally I got a got deal half off... Below is what it includes:

Catalyzed Primer-Sealer
Premium Base Coat
Clear Coat
Sanding
Full Polyurethane Technology??
Poss to be close to factory finish
