Question 3mm vs not with 3mm

all right i told my friend i would find out and see what you guys thought so...........

my friend wants to get a atkins racing engine with the 3mm apex seals, he was wondering if those 3mm seals really make a differance, so i would like every ones opinion on the matter, should he go and get the engine with the 3mm or just go get a really nice built one with out the 3mm seals???

thanx

Re: 3mm vs not with 3mm

Well if you are building for BIG boost and huge power then 3mm is the way to go. But there not great for anythign else. Wear he housings more, longer break in ect ect.
I usualy run 2mm 2 peices in my cars. Hell RE runs 2mm 2 peice in all there cars, that says something right there.
