Re: cruise control

Sounds similiar to problem I had w/2002 Concorde. Somewhere in the forum there is a post that tells how to take the switches out of the steering wheel and clean them w/contact cleaner from Lowes. I don't remember all the directions, but you should be able to find it. My cruise would work, then quit. Light goes off, everything. Stays dead until you turn the vehicle off. On restarting, it would (usually) work for awhile, then die again. Seems the switches on the steering wheel operate on different voltages or resistance, ... After cleaning the contacts and reassembly, the cruise worked correctly. Sorry I don't remember all the steps, but you should be able to find it in the Concorde forum.
Good luck!
