2000 lesabre

i had the heat on in my 2000 lesabre and it was working fine then all of a sudden the heat started getting cold. the next day it took a really long time for the heat to warm up can anybody help me

What State are you in? Is it cold there? Is the engine warming up on the temp gauge just no heat inside the car?

It sounds like you need a thermostat replaced.

Could be the heater core clogged up, when was the last time the coolant was flushed?

Not really enough information, but since you say it suddenly started to get cold, it's probably a problem with a blend door or climate controller problem. Where is the needle on the temperature gauge pointing? Mine stays right in the middle when the engine is fully warmed.
