So you came around a turn with "some snow" in this post yet claim you were in a "snow storm" on another forum...

http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=494347

Why assume all "Cobolts" are junk?

Your profile says you own a "2005 General Motors EV-1." What model is that?

Re: car

This post makes absolutely no sense at all. If you don't know how to drive a car in the snow, then don't drive in the snow. People have been driving non-abs, non-traction control equiped cars for 60+ years in the snow. Some crash, some don't. You think when someone crashed their model-t they bitched about the car being junk because it had no traction control?

If you're a horrible driver all the traction control and abs in the world won't save you from an accident. Learning to drive will serve you best, not complaining about a car that you got for cheap because it had minimal options.

Re: car

what a idiot. if you never driven in snow before than you have a excuse. there could have been ice man. you should have asked and payed more attention to the options if you think the car came with abs and traction control. hate to say it but its your fault. the car has nothing to do with it.

Re: car

I think that you have some screwed up feelings about the car, you should really reconsider the way you feel about it. Don't just jump to conclusions about how it is, i havent ever met anyone who doesn't like them.

Re: car

the bad thing is, most people take one bad incident as the gospel and tell everyone they know and then they think the same thing.

haha

some people think because it has all this traction control and abs that you can drive like a bat out of hell in any weather. Its pretty simple, if the tires loose traction in the curve, nothing is going to save you except the crash features.

Re: car

Only one car I owned had ABS, that was an exploerer 4x4. Otherwise than that I can do without ABS and traction control. It all depends on the driver.

Re: car

There is a funny thing about abs, when they designed the feature they forgot to factor in human ingnorance. it senses speed differences between the wheels, and if all four wheels lock up, the car thinks it has stopped and well, good luck with that.

Re: car

This isn't a Colbolt section. Sorry, but you are going to have to ask questions about that model somewhere else.

PS- Dont blame the car for your crappy driving skills.

Snow > You
