d16a6 interchangable with d16z6?

Hey i working out a deal with a guy but before I confirm it with him I need to know can I use pistons meant for a d16z6 in my d16a6???...these arent stock pistons or rods...je and eagle....

hate to break it to u but no they rn't. d15 rods have to be kept in d15. different rod journal sizes on the crank to the tune of 3mm smaller on the d15, and more simply different rod lengths between the d15 and d16. i know he didn't ask about d15 rods, but they r d-series and they rn't interchangable w/ a d16.

as for the question the rods will work no problem, but the pistons might not. it depends on if the pistons r stock diameter or oversized, and how much cylinder wear u have. if they r oversized then u can have u'r block rebored to fit them. if they r stock and u'r worn too far, or already had been rebored, then no.
