One of few 2000 Tauruses?

When doing gaskets on my engine, the EGR tube broke off, which I found to have been cracked previously. So I order it from the FORD dealer, and the next day come to find that the part that came in was wrong. It was what I needed, but it was missing one tube that comes off on the bottom. So today I took it in this morning and they looked at it and could not find what part it is. They called FORD headquarters and talked with an engineneer and it took them awhile to fin out what it is. They finally said that we have one of few cars that have these special parts. Does anyone know about these few? Anyone have one? What is the valve underneath the EGR on this car? Are there other things I should know? Any information would be helpful in understanding this. Thank you in advance.
