99 Cav ABS Light

Hi all!!!

I have a 99 Cav Z24 Manual. For the past year my ABS System/Light has been erratic. It came on last winter and went away when I replaced my rear brakes. It always makes the (rocks in a can rattle) at start up. Nothing was wrong untill this fall, the light came on again. I needed to do my front brakes this time so I did hoping the light would go away. Nope!! The other thing is everything is fine for several mile/kms and then I hear that (rocks in a can rattle) and the light goes on. It doesn't even need to drive for a while. Sometimes it I let the car warm up after a few minutes the light comes on. Any ideas?

Sorry for the long winded question.
Thanx, your help is appreciated

Steve
