slugish!!!!!
my 98 trans am feel slugish. either some fag in my school poured salt in the gas tank... or the engine is just really cold. Its like in the 20's in VA and goes into the teens at night. Anyway what do u think is the problem.

Throughout the powerband?? Just when the motor is cold?? Certain gear? Locking gas cap sounds like a good idea right about now for sure. That car should like the colder weather. Just don't get on it until it is up to full temperature. Mine doesn't see anything over 1800 RPM's until warmed up fully.

well kinda. Like when i first start it the exhaust note isnt that loud anymore as well. and when i nail the throttle in 2nd it feels slugish. Like the rmp has to go higher than 3 to get pushed back into ur seat. before i bareley pushed it and i flew back. Where can i buy a locking gas cap and how does it "lock"

Engines usually run richer in the winter and if you were already running rich to begin with. Increasing the problem could further hurt the problem.
