Radio static while blower is on
'02 Alero w/ stock AM/FM/CD stereo
I am getting static through the radio (FM) while my blower is on. As soon as I turn the blower off, the static stops. I disconnected the antenna lead under the passager side and made sure it was secure but the problems still remains. I even made sure the connection to the rear window was good. Is there another antenna connection between the lead under the passenger side and the rear window? |

Re: Radio static while blower is on
Behind the C pillar on the rear passenger side is an RF module that goes bad on Aleros. Symptoms of radio static, no rear defogger, or radio static when rear defog is on, etc. Both the radio and defogger leads from the window grids go to that module before going over to the dash.
