Question 2004 Yukon Denali headlamp issue

My son recently was walking in my neighbors driveway and bumped his forehead int the headlight of thier Denali. After it happened, my neighbor noticed that there was a "dimple" impression about the size of a dime in the plastic lens cover and is convinced that it happened from my sons head. The impression is almost perfectly rounded and goes in about 1/8" - 1/4". She swears "it was not there before" and expects me to pay for it.

Has anyone had this happen to you? I dont think, and two autobody professionals agree, that there is anyway my sons head could have done something like that.

It looks like something small hot it and left an impression.

Re: 2004 Yukon Denali headlamp issue

It seems much more likely that a small object hit the lamp on the highway, such as a rock or pebble. Hard to believe that his head did that...
