headlight issue on a 2004 Denali

My son recently was walking in my neighbors driveway and bumped his forehead int the headlight of thier Denali. After it happened, my neighbor noticed that there was a "dimple" impression about the size of a dime in the plastic lens cover and is convinced that it happened from my sons head. The impression is almost perfectly rounded and goes in about 1/8" - 1/4". She swears "it was not there before" and expects me to pay for it.

Has anyone had this happen to you? I dont think, and two autobody professionals agree, that there is anyway my sons head could have done something like that.

It looks like something small hot it and left an impression.

NJ--Unless your son was wearing a super hot oven on his head, no way did his head bump cause any damage to the light module . I have the 2004 Denali and the headlight module is very tough. If she persists, suggest you indicate that she is neglegent for allowing a dangerous object close to children and your lawyer may be involved....

No way would that ever cause a "dimple". If the lense was cracked or shattered than yes. Come on lady!!!

Heck, if the OP's son did somehow manage to leave an impression on that lens cover, I'd imagine the son's forehead would definitely show as much "visible" damage than that seen on the lens cover itself.
