95 4x4

[Newbie600rr]

I have a 95 blazer with the push button 4x4. If I hit the button it will light up but the 4x4 will not engage. In 4lo I can hear a clunk which sounds like the transfer case switching but I still get nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
