importing from denmark

I am moving back to the UK next year and will bring my left hand drive car with me, so it will end up on UK plates. Anyone give me the lowdown on whats what to get this done, pitfalls etc. I take it the car would be have an MOT test, were the headlights would need changing, but I am having a hard time trying to work out as this is my car and I am moving back, is there any VAT to be paid. Is there a quick guide or answer to this? I am also worried that my Citroen Picasso which only has 2 seats (Danish thing) if that would confuse the hell out of an english tester.
