97 metro engine stumbling

My engine is stalling/stubling when I push the gas pedal to the floor. When I push it in 80% of the way it is fine, when i push all the way it hesitates or stumbles violently. Changed spark plugs and wires, distributor, fuel filter, and mechanic checked fuel pump and was good. I was looking for a TSB and found this "Fuel-Drivability Concerns/Hesitation/Stumble/Stalling" This sounds like my problem but don't want to pay $25 to alldata to see the report. Also on cosumer guide it mentioned a fuel injector electrical connector problem for 97 metro. Could this be it and how much will parts cost?

Is that a quik fix that I can do myself or do I have to take it to the mechanic?
