wheel flares
Hey, TAHOE comes with flares on the wheel wells. I don;t like how they look square-ish at the corners. ANyone have any suggestions for new ones for my 2003 YUKON? Seems like the rear ones will be tricky-dicky getting around the doors - I have the SLT not the XL. Advice? Prices?

flares
On the XL the flare goes around the wheel well nice and easy, no problem with the door. On the shorter standard Yukon SLT model [what I have] the door is within a couple inches of the wheel well so the flare has a seam, and has part of it attached to the door.
What I *don;t* like about the flares on the TAHOE is the upper fore and aft corners being more square shaped and not matching the rounded contour of the wheel well. On my TOYOTA 4x4 that I sold B-4 getting my YUKON I had some real nice flares I installed but that is in 1985 and I can;t remember the brand etc. I figure someone has installed some aftermarket flares on their TAHOE or YUKON....... And am looking for possabilities. Your YUKON XL is 21" longer than my YUKON, the extra space added in front of the rear wheels. So flares added would be different models between our trucks even though they are both SLT model YUKONs. |
