Fuel Pump

Is is difficult to change the fuel pump in a 2003? Would it be costly to have the mechanic do it?

Re: Fuel Pump

i don't know about that much but you'll definately save a lot of money doin it youself...you have to drop the gastank and then pull the pump, replace it and hook it all back up....

Everything on a car is easy to do, the only problem is time and patience.

Re: Fuel Pump

hey schister it would run him at least 450 if he went to a mechanic. doing it yourself would cost about 175 bucks or so. Depends on if what kind of fuel pump you go with.

Ouch Unfortunatly you will most likely be sent oversees straight outta BMT and TT(Iraq ) I dont know about you but Im 100% against this war. I feel that we should concentrate on Afganistan not Iraq. However I do believe that Saddam Should have been taken out(killed not captured ) Bush is always comparing this war to our own revolution but, there's a problem. THEY ARE NOT REVOLTING WE ARE. Big differnce no? My recruiter also is against this war.

Re: Fuel Pump

Actually Intelligence isnt that long. I was going to go into it but decided not to due to the fact that the job has a high deployment rate. Also its only 4-12 weeks of TT. Do you really think they are going to what 40 weeks for someone to actually be ready to go. With boot camp thats a full year. your recruiter is shitting you if he told you that.

Re: Fuel Pump

Reason i say its not that long is because 2 of my buddies went into the armed forces for intelligence. 1 Army & 1 Marine they both spent 6 or 7 weeks in TT. Good luck though. Im all set with 3 months of BMT.

You can get a top of the line 255lph Walboro Fuel pump for $99 shipped....it shouldn't cost that much to install. It comes w/ the installation kit and i'm sure they have one for Cavaliers......but $99 is all they cost for most Honda's.

Re: Fuel Pump

Well.... the TT is the same 2 weeks as everyone else. But because of the job I picked Intelligence Specialist, is 40 weeks of school. It's the longest schooling for any job under intel .... it all depends on the exact MOS you pick, not just on the over-all intelligence field.
