Fuel selection problems

I am currently having the same problem with my truck a 1988 Ford F150 4X4 w/302. Both fuel tanks are 2 yrs. old new sending unit and fuel pump in front tank and new fuel selector switch last week. When switching to front tank the fuel gauge reads right but still pumps from rear tank. Any suggestions?
