axle question 97 civic ex
I know i could have searched this easily but right now its 8 am and i just got off work time for bed...
What will interchange with a 97 civic ex axle... Will 92-95 work or any D-series at that... Also does it really matter on ABS to Non abs...cause i used a ABS axle on a 95 civic that didnt have ABS and worked fine just didnt know if anything odd would happen.. Thx later |

Re: axle question 97 civic ex
something I learned here is that the only difference between an ABS and non ABS axle is the ring on the ABS axles. You can take it off if you want to, but it won't affect anything leaving it on. As for the 5th gen axles, I don't know if they are different in length or number of splines, but those would be the two reasons they wouldn't work as far as I know.

Re: axle question 97 civic ex
your EX doesn't have ABS anyway....it won't matter one bit, the only difference is that there is a speed sensor at the end of the axle....

Re: axle question 97 civic ex
92-00 sohc civic axles are interchangable. if you dont have abs, it doesnt matter which ones you get.
