95 Escort Cigarette Lighter Fuse

So I just Bought a Sirius Satelite receiver only to find out that my Lighter doesn't work. Anyways I am going crazy trying to find the fuse for this thing, any ideas where I can find it.

Are you sure the lighter doesn't have power? Could have blown the fuse in the Sirius plug. Anyway, look down at your fuse box which is next to your left knee when sitting in the driver seat. The fuse is NOT in this box. Stick your head way under there and to the top right of the fuse box is a small black box. Mine says "CIGAR 20A". That's your fuse. Mine was a bitch to get open. Had to try out of curiosity. The little box door opens upward. You have to get the latch at the bottom to release. I used a small screwdriver. Let me know if this helps. At some point just 'hard wire' the wire into something and then you won't have to fool with the lighter. I have Sirius too. I listen to Sirius Right Channel 145.

Ya I tried my Phone one as well and it didn't work either. I hope it is just the fuse, I really don't wanna get a new Cig Lighter.

worked for my '01 escort zx2... haha i NEVER would have found that. i don't get why it has to have its own little box. the cover popped right off when i pulled from the center. i'd also be scared to lose that little 'fuse puller' from the other fuse cover. anyway, THANKS so much! sorry, i don't have Sirius though. i needed it for my GPS.
