What is the driffrence between a 91 Eclipse and a 91 Talon. Would a body kit from a eclipse fit a talon.

Ok like the body style are they the same. Also can taillights from a 91 Eclipse fit a 91 Talon.

A talon is essential an eclipse. It has almost the same everything except the emblems and some slight body differences.

If it goes on an eclipse tghere is a 99.9% chance it fits a talon and vice versa.

They are the same exact car for the most part.

everything from the eclipse will bolt right on to the talon. i know people who converted the 1g talon to a 1g eclipse and the 2g talon to 2g eclipse.

OK then one last question is the gauge cluster the same like if i get glow gauges for a 91 eclipse will they fit the talon. thanks for all the help.

well thanks for all the help. I wnat to know this beacuse i might get a 91 talon for 300 cause i want to sell my 4dr civic cause im just tired of it and to many problems. I was on the internet and didnt see any aftermarket parts ( well not many ) but i know that eclipse from that same year look alike so now im going to get it just a matter of time.

Even if it is a GS no turbo. You can convert the old 90 GS's to turbo pretty easily.

So either way you will have a sweet car!

as in engine swap or buy a turbo. and if you can tell me do you know the stock Hp of a non GS turbo and a turbod GS. Just curious.

If it's a 2.0 GS it's the same engine as a turbo'ed model of the same year. Just minus the turbo and some other small parts.


I think the stock GS is like 110 or something and the gs-t/gsx is like 190-210.

Holy crap are you serious my stock d15b2 engine in my civic has 92 Hp that isnt that big of a increase but its a diffrence cant wait untill towmorrow.

if it's a gsx or gs-t or what not. You will definately feel a difference
