overheating

I have a 97' grand am se and it seems to be overheating. I have to always have the heat on for the thermostat to stay at 3/4 the way up, and sometimes it still goes up pretty high. I put coolant in, i dont think thats the problem. I dont even drive it that long when it starts to go up, i have no idea what the problem is.

Re: overheating

Try changing the thermostat. Sounds like it is stuck.
